How can I get rental pricing for your venue?

Can I stop in and see the Ballroom or do I need an appointment?
We always want you to stop in and see us! However, to tour the Ballroom, we do require an appointment. To get a tour scheduled email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
How do I get my event on the calendar?
Come for a tour (not required but recommended).
Sign our Venue Agreement.
Pay $900 non-refundable deposit.
How do I know if my date is available?
Our weekends fill up fast! Email us at email@example.com to see if your date is available.
Is there a deposit? When are additional payments due?
Round Lake Vineyards requires a $900 deposit due at the time of signing our venue agreement to hold your date. All other payments are due at or before your 5-week appointment.
What if we have an accident? Is there a damage deposit required?
Round Lake Vineyards does require a $1,500 refundable damage deposit in the form of a check. The check is added to your file and held for two weeks after your event. After assessment of the Ballroom at the completion of your event the check is then destroyed if no damage has occurred.
Do we need to provide liability insurance?
We require a General Liability Certificate of Insurance covering the date of the event in the amount of $250,000 naming the WINERY as an additional insured and must be received 2 weeks prior to the event. A general liability certificate can usually be obtained from your insurance or online broker.
How can I pay? Cash, check, card?
Round Lake Vineyards takes payment in the form of cash, check, money order and all major credit cards. Credit card payments are subject to a 5% credit card processing fee at the time of payment. We would recommend using a different payment method to avoid this fee. Final payment for all events are due in full by 5-weeks prior to the event.
Will there be other events the same day as mine?
We strive to make your special day memorable! We may have other events the same day as yours but they would be in a different area of the winery and will not interfere with yours!
How many of my friends and family can I invite?
We have two separate reception locations! Our Vineyard and the Ballroom! The Vineyard can accommodate up to 100 and the Ballroom can accommodate up to 300 of your nearest and dearest!
Are my pets allowed to take part in our big day?
Pets are welcome at Round Lake Vineyards & Winery for your ceremony ONLY! We do suggest that couples find housing for their fur-babies after the ceremony is over. While we do allow pets for your ceremony, they must be on a leash and supervised at all times. Round Lake Vineyards & Winery is not liable or responsible for the care, well-being or supervision of your pets. Pets are NOT free to roam outside or enter the Ballroom at any time. Any waste produced by your pet must be cleaned up immediately.
What happens in the event of rain?
In the event of inclement weather, a plan would be created during your 5-week appointment with your Event Planner.
How will my food be served?
We have two options: buffet or plated.
What time will I have access to the Ballroom for decorating?
We do have many options for decorating! If you would like us to reserve the day before your event for decorating, we do offer our Day Before Guarantee - pricing can be found on our pricing guide! If you would like to do day of decorating, we do allow for you to come a couple of hours earlier from your standard rental time. Or save your time and energy - let us to the decorating for you! Pricing can be discussed with one of our Event Planners.
What about parking? How many vehicles does your lot allow?
A LOT! We do have plenty of space for your guests and multiple overflow options. We want you to get home safely so, we do allow for vehicles to be left in our lot overnight. They are required to be picked up by 10 am the next morning.
Is there on-site lodging?
We do not have lodging on-site. We have partnered with a local bus rental company to conveniently transport your guests to and from our Winery. Pricing can be found on our pricing guide.
Are there accomodations nearby?
Worthington, MN is a short 15-minute drive from our venue and does offer some great overnight accommodation options! Or we are just 30-minutes from the Iowa Great Lakes area.
What is the clean up policy?
All items brought in by the couple must be cleaned up by the client and out of the Ballroom by midnight. Round Lake Vineyards is not liable for any items left overnight. Round Lake Vineyards staff will clear eating utensils, (cups, plates, napkins, silverware, etc.) food and any decorations rented to the client from Round Lake Vineyards decoration collection.
Do you include a "Wedding Day Coordinator"?
Round Lake Vineyards does include an Event Planner for your special day. The Event Planner will be on-site during your event to ensure that anything regarding the venue is taken care of (trash cans, bathrooms, A/C control, garage doors, lights, etc.). Our Event Planners do not provide any services outside of our offerings.
What hours are included in the rental fee?
Our standard time for rental is 10 AM - 12 AM the day of your event. We have been known to come earlier if you need to do hair and make-up in our bridal suite on your big day! This time must be coordinated with your Event Planner and written into your venue agreement.
We plan on having our ceremony at a different location, does this change the rental fee?
We would love to host your ceremony here at the Winery! However, if you are having your ceremony offsite it would change the rental fee. All our pricing can be found on our pricing guide!
Is the Rehearsal Dinner included with rental?
We would love to host a Rehearsal Dinner or Groom’s Supper for you! This isn’t included in our rental price for the Ballroom. We would love to make it happen though! You can find pricing our venue pricing guide!
Are table linens, napkins, dishware, etc included in rental price?
Included with every wedding rental are table linens in either black or white, cloth dinner napkins also in either black or white, white plates, silverware, and cups that are provided through our bar. If you would like a different color of linens, or to have the table settings to include water goblets or wine glasses, we do provide those at an extra cost that can be found on our pricing guide.
What size tables are included in my rental?
At Round Lake Vineyards we do include 8' rectangle or 60” round tables to be used for your event. Also included are standard banquet chairs seating 8 guests per table.
What should I feed my guests?
All food must be purchased through Round Lake Vineyards, with the exception of wedding cake or cupcakes. We have many food options available on our catering menu including appetizers and different types of buffet options. How much wine should I purchase for my event?
To make it easier we have done the math for you! Round Lake Vineyards does require 1 case (12 bottles) be purchased for each 50 guests in attendance of your event. This can be of one variety or you can mix and match your favorites!
Am I allowed to take pictures at the Winery?
Yes! We encourage all of our couples to take pictures on property! We have great scenery at the Winery; with many locations to choose from. By the lake, in the trees, or in the grape vines! Make sure to share them with us too!
Do you have a smoking policy?
Smoking is NOT allowed inside the Ballroom at any time, this includes e-cigarettes and vaporizers. Smoking is permitted outdoor designated areas ONLY.
