RunB4Wine 5K

RunB4Wine 5K is in memory of baby Benjamin Bruce who was healed in heaven after fighting a heroic battle against liver failure caused by a rare enterovirus.

All proceeds from RunB4Wine go to the Big Brave Benjamin Bruce PICU fund which assists families of chronically ill children at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children's hospital. Like Benjamin, many babies and children at the U of M Masonic have been diagnosed with potentially fatal illnesses and their hospital stay is likely to extend over several months. The medical teams at the U of M Masonic put tremendous effort into saving the lives of these children, often using medications and treatments which have never been tried before.

RunB4Wine 5K is on pavement, and gravel/dirt/grass trails throughout beautiful Round Lake Vineyards and along Round Lake lakeshore. One water station will be located along the route. No packet pick-up is required, check-in starts at 10:00 am on race day. Medals will be given for both male and female overall 1st place finishers in the child (<18), adult (18-55) and senior (>55) age categories.

Participants and their families & friends are welcome to attend a lakeside worship sunrise service at 9:30 am. The full line of Round Lake Vineyards wine will be for sale at the event, along with a variety of RunB4Wine merchandise.
